Waste Management of New Hampshire/Maine is committed to recycling through its Recycling America program. Our Material Recovery Facility located in Rochester, New Hampshire, has a state-of-the-art system designed to process mixed recyclable materials and sorted recycled materials. In 1999 Waste Management of New England recycled well of over 31,000 tons of material.

The Crossroads Recycling Facility offers a wood processing facility which grinds waste wood such as railroad tires, telephone poles and construction debris into fuel for use in Maine's Industrial boilers.

Residential Drop-off
Thursday - Sunday
7:30Am - 4:00 PM
Saturday 7:00AM - 12:00PM

End-User
Waste Management has established long-term marketing agreements with regional suppliers or entered into joint-venture relationships with national consumers of recycling materials. We currently have such agreements with American National Can Corporation, Dupont Corporation and Stone Container Corporation.

Tours
Groups and individulas are encouraged to visit the either location for educational tours. Please call ahead to arrange a convenient date and time by contacting Customer Service.
